Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here. First, allow me to introduce myself as the person behind the keyboard, sole owner and operator of Clarity Hair Studio. I’m Kylie! I’ve now been in this incredible beauty industry for 9 years, and they’ve been some of the best 9 years of my life. To say that I enjoy my craft is an understatement. I strive to create a unique, individualized, welcoming experience for every one of my clients who comes to sit in my chair. The start of my career began in 2014, halfway through my senior year of high school, when I passed my State Board exam and received my cosmetology license. Some called me an “overachiever,” but I called myself “determined.” Determination landed me my first job shortly thereafter where I underwent an additional 9 months of one-on-one training to improve my skill set. Talk about setting the bar high! I’ve had opportunities to travel to New York City to attend elite hair academies, as well as numerous other classes and trainings for color techniques, placements, formulation, hair cutting, hair design, product knowledge, and customer service skills. As my career progressed, I knew that I really wanted to create a personalized experience for each and every one of my clients, while also having creative control over the environment I offer. I’ve prioritized clear communication, thoroughness, and mutual understanding. My dedication to my career continued to grow, and in 2023, Clarity Hair Studio was born! I want to thank all my past, current, and future clients for allowing me the opportunity to get creative with your hair, build relationships, and contributing towards building my small business. Every single one of you counts, and I couldn’t do it without you all.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations: A 48 hour notice should be given if you are needing to cancel an appointment. However, I understand that unexpected things can happen that may require you to cancel an appointment within the 48 hour window. Certain instances will be handled on a case-by-case basis. The first occurrence of a less-than 48 hour notice for a cancellation will be forgiven. The second occurrence will be subject to a fee that is equal to 50% of the total service that was scheduled. The third occurrence (and any further occurrences) will be subject to a fee that is equal to 95% of the total service that was scheduled. No shows: If you do not notify me prior to your appointment that you need to cancel, and you do not show up for that appointment, you will be subject to a fee that is equal to 50% of the total service that was scheduled. A second occurrence of this (and any further occurrences) will subject you to a fee that is equal to 95% of the total service that was scheduled. Late: If you are running behind for your appointment time, please contact me and let me know. If you are late for your appointment time, there is a possibility that I will no longer be able to accommodate all of the service(s) you were scheduled for. If you are 15 or more minutes late to your service, I reserve the right to reschedule your appointment (if I deem it necessary) to another day and you will be responsible for a last minute cancellation fee of 50% of the services that were scheduled. Online booking: All appointments booked online must be approved by me before it is entered into my schedule. This is an automatic process, and you will receive confirmation once I have approved the appointment. Bringing children or guests: I understand that you may need or want to bring your children, significant other, friend or family member with you to your appointment. As all of the above are welcome to tag along, please understand that I do not have guaranteed seating for more than 1 additional guest due to the limited space I have. Please consider this before your appointment if you intend on bringing guests with you. Redos: If you are dissatisfied with the service you have received, please inform me of this within 7 days of your appointment. I will happily offer revisions to your hair service. I do not offer refunds. Please keep in mind that I strive to provide you with professional advice on aftercare instructions, product recommendations, and realistic expectations for your hair after your service. If you don’t follow any instructions or guidelines that I give you in regards to caring for your hair properly, I cannot guarantee my work. Instances of not following my instructions for proper aftercare or products that result in your request for a redo will be at an additional cost to you. If you request a redo because you have changed your mind about what you are wanting, a complimentary revision will be voided. I will only revise your hair at no additional cost if it was a mistake on my part, not if you have decided you now want something different than what was originally discussed. Product returns: I accept any returns or exchanges for retail products as long as they are unused/unopened within 7 days of purchase. If you are unsure if you will like a new product, I am happy to have you try samples prior to purchasing.
